3-day Adult Ballet Summer Intensive
with master teacher, Catherine Board

Join us for a special 3-day Adult Ballet Intensive led by former professional dancer and master teacher Catherine Board. This immersive experience is designed for adult dancers who want to deepen their understanding of ballet technique while exploring the physical, mental, and artistic aspects of dance.

Over three mornings, dancers will participate in technique classes, strength work, guided discussions, and variations. Catherine’s teaching blends traditional ballet training with thoughtful insight into how movement awareness, discipline, and mindset shape both our dancing and our lives.

With only 12 spots available, this intensive offers a focused and supportive environment where dancers of different levels can train together, ask questions, and grow.

Dates: July 15–17 (Wednesday–Friday)
Time: 10:00 AM – 1:15 PM daily
Location: Blissfully Yours Ballet
Capacity: Limited to 12 dancers

Optional semi-private coaching sessions (2 dancers per session) are available each morning from 9:30–10:00 AM.

About Catherine Board

Catherine Board trained for ten years at the Maryland Youth Ballet under Tensia Fonseca and Michelle Lees. At age 10 she was selected from over 250 children to perform with the New York City Ballet in A Midsummer Night's Dream at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.

She began dancing professionally at 14 with Classical Ballet Theatre before graduating from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts. Catherine went on to perform with both the Richmond Ballet and the Nashville Ballet, performing a wide range of classical and contemporary roles.

After moving to Colorado, she joined Ballet Nouveau Colorado (now Wonderbound) where she later served as Company Teacher, Ballet Mistress, and intern Artistic Director. She also spent eight years as Guest Ballet Master with Oklahoma City Ballet, helping stage and direct their production of The Nutcracker.

Over the past 20 years Catherine has taught thousands of students, many of whom have gone on to dance professionally with companies including Colorado Ballet, Philadelphia Ballet, and American Ballet Theatre.

Susan Jaffe, Artistic Director of American Ballet Theatre, invited Catherine to create a workshop promoting healthier, more conscious dancers. Together they developed The Transcendent Dancer, a program Catherine led for hundreds of dancers at University of North Carolina School of the Arts and Orlando Ballet.

Today Catherine is the founder of Greater Levels of Love and works as a full-time life coach, integrating the discipline and awareness cultivated through ballet into transformational coaching.

Ways to join Rep / Variations

If you plan on incorporating Rep / Variations into your regular schedule, you may be best served to choose our Add-On Membership! This monthly membership renews just like the other memberships and grants you access to these workshops. Other benefits of Add-On Memberships can be found here.

Purchase a single package that allows you access to all the classes in the particular workshop you’re interested in. There is no renewal in this option.

When we take class, we get loads of things to work on and it’s so fun to work on ALL the things but sometimes we need to SLOW DOWN and concentrate on the details of our ballet practice. We hope you enjoy these next series and bring the knowledge gained into your regular classes moving forward.
